Alan Rogers Review
This site is high in the Sierra Nevada natural park and looks down on the Patano de Canales reservoir. After a scenic drive to Güejar-Sierra, you are rewarded with a site boasting excellent facilities. It is set on a slope but the pitches have been levelled and are quite private, with high separating hedges and many mature trees giving good shade, (some pitches are fully serviced, with sinks and all but four have electricity). The large bar/restaurant complex and pools have wonderful views over the lake and a grassy sunbathing area runs down to the fence looking over the long drop below.

Getting there...
Heading south towards Granada on A44 (E902 Jaén - Motril) take exit 132 onto A395 (Alhamba - Sierra Nevada). After 4 km. marker, exit 5B (Sierra Nevada). At 7 km. marker, exit right onto slip road. At (Cenes de la Vega - Güejar-Sierra) junction turn left. In 200 m. turn right on A4026. In 1.6 km. turn left (Güejar-Sierra). Drive uphill, past dam and site is on right in 2.8 km.
