A good, well maintained site in a quiet location, easy to find from the motorway and popular as an overnight stop. Camping l’Arada Parc is an attractive family site nestling in the heart of the Touranelle countryside between the Loire and Loir valleys. The 73 grass touring pitches all have electricity and 19 have water and drainage. The clearly marked pitches, some slightly sloping, are separated by trees and shrubs, some of which are now providing a degree of shade. An attractive, heated pool is on a pleasant terrace beside the restaurant. Entertainment, themed evenings and activities for children are organised in July/August. This is a new site with modern facilities which include a superb new covered pool and fitness room.
Facilities
Two modern toilet blocks provide unisex toilets, showers and washbasins in cubicles. Baby room. Facilities for disabled visitors (wheelchair users may find the gravel access difficult). Laundry facilities. Shop, bar, restaurant and takeaway (all season). Motorcaravan service point. Outdoor swimming pool (no Bermuda-style shorts; 1/5-15/9). Heated, covered pool (all season). Fitness room. Small play area. Games area. Boules. TV room. Bicycle hire. Internet access. WiFi throughout site. Footpath to village.

Getting there...
Sonzay is northwest of Tours. From the new A28 north of Tours take the exit to Neuillé-Pont-Pierre which is on the N138 Le Mans - Tours road. Then take D766 towards Château la Vallière and turn southwest to Sonzay. Follow campsite signs.
