This site is set in four hectares of mature oak woodland within the Parc Naturel Régional des Causses de Quercy with stunning natural scenery and only 2.5 km. from the cliff top village of St Cirq-Lapopie. La Truffière is well suited to those seeking a peaceful countryside holiday and it is a superb area for hiking. The 90 slightly sloping, terraced pitches are of varying sizes and on a mixture of grass and gravel. All have 6A electricity (long leads may be needed) and most have shade from mature trees. Access is good for large outfits but advanced booking is recommended.
Facilities
Two well appointed, clean, modern toilet blocks (one heated) include facilities for disabled visitors. Motorcaravan services. Fridge hire. Small shop (open all season). Bar/restaurant (1/6-31/8), terrace overlooking pool and playing field. Takeaway (1/6-15/9). Swimming pool, paddling pool, sun terrace (1/5-15/9). Playing field, volleyball, basketball, football. Adventure style play area. Trampolines. Boules. English spoken. Gas and electric barbecues only on pitches (3 communal areas). WiFi near bar.

Getting there...
From D911 Cahors - Rodez road, at Concots, turn north on D26 (signed St Cirq-Lapopie). Shortly keep left, D42. Site about 6 km. on right. Approaching from north on D42 via St Cirq-Lapopie not recommended due to extremely tight turns in village.
