La Siesta occupies a remarkable location close to the heart of the thriving resort of Salou, yet only two blocks from the fine sandy beach. The 470 pitches, all with 10A electricity, vary in size, some suitable for larger units, others for tents. There is considerable shade from the trees and shrubs that contribute to the site’s attractive appearance. Considerable recent investment has seen the creation of a pleasant, grassy play area for children and impressive new sports provision. For 2012, an extensive new leisure pool complex is being built, overlooked by the existing bar/restaurant offering comprehensive and competitively priced menus, and entertainment in high season.
Facilities
Three bright and clean sanitary blocks provide very reasonable facilities including controllable showers and open style washbasins. Unit for disabled visitors. Motorcaravan services. Supermarket. Various vending machines. Self-service restaurant and bar with takeaway. Children’s club (June-Aug). Entertainment (July/Aug). New playground. Multisports and short tennis courts. Extensive new leisure pool complex planned for 2012. Medical service daily in season. ATM point. Torches may be required.

Getting there...
Salou is just 10 km. southwest of Tarragona. Leave AP7 at exit 35 or A7 (toll-free) motorway at exit for Salou. Follow the Tarragona-Salou road (dual-carriageway) until you pass the side of the site on the right. Site is signed (narrow turning). Follow further small signs through the one way system.
