This site occupies a spectacular location. The reception building is opposite a solid rock face and many hundred feet below the site and the climb to the upper part of the site is quite daunting but staff will place your caravan for you, although motorcaravan drivers will have an exciting drive to the top, especially to the loftier pitches. Once there, the views are absolutely outstanding, both along the coast and inland to the Picos de Europa mountains. There are 434 pitches, 350 with 10/15A electricity. There is also a lower section in a shaded valley to which access is easier, if rather tight in places.

Getting there...
Vidiago is 85 km. west of Santander. Site is signed from A8/N634 Santander - Oviedo/Gijón road near km. 292 marker (on non-motorway section). Site approach road is just east of the village of Vidiago, marked by campsite signs (not named) and flags. Cross the railway track and exercise caution on bends.
