An agreeable alternative to sites closer to the centre of Siena, La Montagnola is set in secluded woodland to the north of the village of Sovicille. The owners have worked hard to provide a good basic standard of amenities. The 52 pitches are of good size (60-80 sq.m) and offer some privacy. Clearly marked and with shade, all are suitable for caravans and motorcaravans, all having electricity connections. However, there are just three water points on the site. There is a large wooded area and an overflow field for tents with no electricity and another field has a play area for children.

From north on Firenze - Siena motorway take Siena Ouest exit. Turn left on SS73 and at Malignano turn right towards Sovicille. Turn left just before mini roundabout. Site is about 2 km. on the right. From south (Grosseto) take SS223 turn at crossroads to Rosia from where site is signed.
