Camping la Heronnière is a quiet relaxing site on the edge of a leisure lake in pleasant rolling woodland countryside. The 80 touring pitches are good sized, grassy and level. About half have shade, with electrical connections for 88 and there are plenty of water points. The site is within easy reach of Chalon-sur-Saône, Tournus and the Chalonnais vineyards and wine route. Cluny and the former industrial towns of Le Creusot and Montceau-les-Mines are each about 40 km. away.
Facilities
Well equipped modern sanitary block includes facilities for campers with disabilities. Snack bar (June-Aug). Covered area outside reception, with bread, drinks, ice cream, basic provisions and French breakfast. Heated outdoor pool. Boules. Bicycle hire. Fishing. Marquee with TV, board games. Playground.

Getting there...
Leave N6 (Chalon-sur-Saône - Mâcon) at Sennecy-le-Grand (about 18 km. south of the centre of Chalon), taking D18 west to Laives (4 km). In centre of village, take right fork and continue along D18, 4 km. to the northwest.
