Located in an area known for its thermal waters since Roman and Moorish times and with just 87 pitches and 14 bungalows, La Fuente is a gem. Unusually, winter is high season here. The main attraction here is the huge hydrotherapy centre where the water is a constant 36 degrees all year. The pool can be covered in inclement weather. The site is in two sections, one where pitches are in standard rows and the other where they are in circles around blocks. The hard, flat pitches are on shingle (rock pegs advised), have 10A electricity (Europlug) and 53 have their own mini sanitary unit. Some artificial shade has been added to 22 pitches.

Getting there...
From A7/E15 Alicante - Murcia road take C3223 to Fortuna then follow signs to Baños de Fortuna. The site with its bright yellow walls can be easily seen from the road and is very well signed in the town.
