Camping la Forêt is an attractive, well run site with a friendly family atmosphere, thanks to the hard working owners, M. and Mme. Jolivet. It provides just 61 pitches with 46 for touring units. They are of a reasonable size and surrounded by mature hedges; all have water and electricity, and some also have drainage. A variety of trees provides shade to every pitch. There are 15 mobile homes for rent and one tour operator on site (11 pitches), but their presence is not intrusive and the site has a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
Facilities
The central toilet block includes hot showers and washbasins in cubicles. Laundry and dishwashing facilities. Baby bath. Facilities for disabled visitors. Motorcaravan waste tanks can be emptied on request. Basic provisions sold in reception, including fresh bread. Takeaway (15/5-15/9). Small heated swimming pool (15/5-15/9). Small games room with TV. WiFi throughout (charged). Play area. Bicycle hire. Only gas and electric barbecues allowed, communal barbecue in centre of site. Not suitable for American motorhomes.

Getting there...
Saint Jean-de-Monts is 55 km. northwest of la Roche-sur-Yon. The site is 6 km. north of St Jean just off the D38 towards Notre Dame-de-Monts. At southern end of Notre Dame, turn west at sign for site and Plage de Pont d’Yeu. Bear left and site is on left in about 200 m.
