Alan Rogers Review
This is an excellent family run site on the banks of the Main, to the east of Wurzburg. For peace and quiet this site is likely to be at the top of the list. There are 242 pitches with some 142 for touring units. All pitches have electricity (6-16A Europlug)and 25 provide electricity, water, and drainage. Reception also houses a shop and good tourist information. Wurzburg is an important commercial and cultural centre that was substantially destroyed by bombing and has risen again from the ashes. The town is the home of the excellent Franconian wine. The village of Sommerach, a few minutes walk from the site, is surrounded by vineyards which produce a special local vintage.

Getting there...
From the A3 take Kitzingen exit and turn towards Schweinfurt. After 4 km. turn right towards Sommerach. Just before the village turn left and site is well signed.
