Alan Rogers Review
This is a small, uncomplicated and tranquil city site with the advantage of being on top of a cliff at the water’s edge. The 70 level touring pitches are on gravel with shade from some tall trees and artificial bamboo screens. There are some clean high quality sanitary facilities (also some private facilities for hire). There is no pool but the views of the water compensate and there are delightful rock pools in the sea just a few steps from the campsite. A new attractive restaurant offers food in the summer high season. Camping Jonio is ideal for a short stay to unwind.

Getting there...
From A18 Catania exit follow signs to the coast road (SS114) in the direction of Ognina. Site is off the SS114 (signed) on the northeast outskirts of town. Access to site is off the small one way system and via the site’s separate car park.
