Alan Rogers Review
Camping Jeugdstadion is a small municipal close to the historic old town. There are 22 caravan pitches, all with electricity (6A), plus a separate area for 70 tents. At the end of Leopold III Laan (10 minutes walk) is the Menin Gate built in 1927, which bears the names of British and Commonwealth soldiers who lost their lives between 1914-1918. The last post is sounded beneath the gate at 20.00 every evening in their honour. The interactive museum entitled ‘The Flanders Experience’ in the Cloth Hall is a moving experience.

Getting there...
Site is southeast of the city centre. From N336 (Lille) at roundabout by the Lille Gate, turn left on Picanolaan and first right into Leopold III laan. Jeugdstadion entrance is on the right. Use roadside parking and book in at ‘Kantine’ inside gates. Alternatively go straight to the vehicle gate and walk through the site to the office to book in.
