Situated beside the Markermeer, which is used extensively for watersports, this large site has its own private yachting marina (300 yachts and boats). It has 200 seasonal and permanent pitches, but also offers 200 marked tourist pitches (140 with 4/16A electricity) on open, grassy ground overlooking the water and 32 mobile homes to rent. There is a special area for campers with bicycles. Very much dominated by the marina, this site will appeal to watersports enthusiasts, with opportunities for sailing, windsurfing and swimming, or for fishing, but it is also on a pretty stretch of coast. Much construction was underway when we visited, but this was mainly in the seasonal areas.

Getting there...
From A10, take exit S116 onto the N247 towards Volendam. Then take Monnickendam exit south in direction of Marken on N518, then Uitdam. Site is just outside Uitdam.
