This is an attractive, child-friendly site with 800 m. of beach, situated directly beside the IJsselmeer with a canal on one side. It is ideal for those who enjoy watersports as there are many activities on the lake, including windsurfing, sailing, swimming, fishing, or you can launch your own boat. There are 650 pitches here, of which 400 are good sized, individual, flat and grassy for tourers, with 4/6A electrical connections. A few pitches also have water and drainage. In separate areas, the other pitches are taken by seasonal guests and about 50 static units. Dogs are only allowed in one area and cars must be left in a car park.

Getting there...
From Groningen on the A7 (via Drachten, Joure and Sneek), exit just before Bolsward onto the N359 towards Workum, then exit Workum. Pass through village, follow sign (IJsselmeer) and then site signs.
