Camping Internacional Aranjuez

Aranjuez, Madrid, Madrid

Alan Rogers Review

Aranjuez, supposedly Spain’s version of Versailles, is worthy of a visit with its beautiful palaces, leafy squares, avenues and gardens. This useful, popular and unusually well equipped site is therefore excellent for enjoying the unusual attractions or for an en-route stop. It is 47 km. south of Madrid and 46 km. from Toledo. The site is alongside the River Tajo in a park-like situation with mature trees. There are 162 touring pitches, all with electricity (16A), set on flat grass amid tall trees. The site was bought by the owners of La Marina (ES87420) who have worked hard to improve the pitches and the site.

Location

Getting there...
From the M305 (Madrid - Aranjuez) look for 8 km. marker on the outskirts of town. Then follow campsite signs – these lead back onto the M305 (going north now) and the site is signed off right at 300 m. on the first left bend. Follow signs down the narrow road for 400 m. If coming from the south ensure that you have the M305 to Madrid (other roads are signed to Madrid). If in doubt ask as it is very confusing if the M305 road is missed.
