Alan Rogers Review
This is a spacious and attractive site sitting high on a hillside on the outskirts of Clermont-Ferrand, but close to the beautiful Auvergne countryside. It has 197 terraced pitches on part hardstanding. There are 138 available for touring units, all with 10A electricity (long leads may be needed) and in addition five pitches offer water and drainage. The pitches are informally arranged in groups, with each group widely separated by attractive trees and shrubs. The bar and terrace overlooks the irregularly shaped swimming pool, paddling pool, sunbathing area, tennis courts and play areas. Although very peaceful off season, the site could be busy and lively in July and August.
Facilities
Five well appointed toilet blocks, some heated. They have all the usual amenities but it could be a long walk from some pitches. Small shop (all season). Bar, restaurant and takeaway (July/Aug). Attractive heated swimming and paddling pools (27/5-18/9), sunbathing area. Tennis. Boules. Two grassy play areas. Organised entertainment in high season. Internet. Torches advised. Max. 1 dog.

Getting there...
From A75 exit 2 (Clermont-Ferrand) follow signs for Bordeaux (D799). At third roundabout exit left signed Bordeaux. Shortly take exit right then turn right, signed Ceyrat. Leaving Ceyrat, at traffic lights take D941C signed Royat and Puy-de-Dôme. At top of hill turn left (D5) site signed. Entrance 800 m.
