Alan Rogers Review
Few campsites are in sole possession of an island, and when that island lies in a beautiful tree-lined valley the site is likely to be something special. Camping Ile de Faigneul is! This quiet, peaceful site, a real family campsite in summer, is surrounded by the River Semois, and is near the small village of Poupehan in the picturesque Belgian Ardennes. The 130 level pitches, all with electricity (6A Europlug), on this grass covered island are all for touring units. The site’s friendly owners, Alouis and Daniella van Zon-Berkes, who speak good English, took over the site a few years ago and have worked hard to return it to its present state of natural beauty.

Getting there...
From A4/E411 towards Luxembourg take exit 25 (Libramont/Bouillon) then N89 southwest to Bouillon. In Bouillon follow signs for Poupehan. The twisting road passes through the forests and ends up alongside the Semois just before Poupehan. Left over the stone bridge and immediately right (site signed) and follow road to end, site is over bridge to the right.
