Il Vecchio Mulino enjoys a fine woodland setting on the slopes of Monte Marsicano at the heart of the Abruzzo National Park. The site is open all year and is popular for walking and cycling in the summer and is well located for the Pescasseroli and Macchiarvana ski resorts in the winter. The focal point of the site is the old mill and the attractively restored farm buildings house the restaurant and bed and breakfast accommodation. The restaurant specialises in local Abruzzese cuisine and is open from May to September. The 200 pitches here are spacious and level and all are equipped with a wooden picnic table and electrical connection.

Take Pescina exit from the A24/A25 Rome - Pescara motorway and join the SS83 through Passo del Diavolo to Pescasseroli from where the site is well signed (1 km. from Opi).
