Harfenmühle is a quiet, family run and family orientated site set in a wooded valley on the Edelsteinstrasse (precious stone route) between the wine regions Mosel and Nahe and is a site well suited to those interested in an active outdoor holiday. Besides on-site activities for children, such as searching for gems in the gemstone river (10.15 daily) or ‘gold’ washing offsite, there are many intersting places to visit and things to do, such as stone breaking in a search for gemstones at a nearby quarry. The 100 touring pitches are arranged in several separate areas, level, on grass and all with electricity.

Site is 12 km. north of Idar-Oberstein. From the B41 Saarbrücken - Bad Kreuznach, exit north at Fischbach signed towards Herrstein and then on through Morschied to Asbacherhütte, with site entrance on right.
