Camping Gythion Bay

Gythion, Peloponnese, South

Alan Rogers Review

Camping Gythion Bay has 71 unmarked pitches set amongst orange, fig, olive and pine trees and all with electricity. Some trees limit access but the owner Mr Zafirakos is dealing with this to improve the site. Indeed he has also been busy refurbishing the toilets, showers and other facilities. With a good beach alongside the site, there are good opportunities for windsurfing and storage for boards is available. This is a good starting point for excursions to the Caves of Diros and for wider exploration of Lakonia and especially Inner and Outer Mani and Sparta.
