Alan Rogers Review
This is one of those sites that take one by surprise. This is old fashioned camping, but what fun, and we met English-speaking people who have been coming here for 30 years. Choose from 500 well shaded, flat and grassy informal pitches or a position with views over the lagoon to the towers in Saint Mark’s Square. With water on three sides there are welcoming cool breezes and fortunately many trees hide the industrial area close by. Those who don’t wish to be disturbed by the lively bar can choose from the many superb informal waterside pitches at the far end of the site.

Getting there...
From SSII Padua - Venice road follow site signs on road east of Mira, turning right as signed. Site is in Fusina at end of peninsula and is well signed (also as ‘Fusina parking’). With the road system undergoing much modernisation, keep a keen watch for brown camping signs for Fusina and Serenisima.
