Camping Sägmühle has been in the same family since 1950, during which time it has undergone several major developments which have turned it into a first class site. It is peacefully situated beside a lake, in a wooded valley in the heart of the Palatinate Nature Park, and there are many kilometres of walks to enjoy, as well as castles to explore. The 200 touring pitches (half the total) are at least 80 sq.m. or more on flat grass, each with electricity (4/16A) and TV connections, with plenty of water points around. There are three separate areas of pitches.

Each area has its own sanitary facilities, which feature private cabins, baby bathroom, facilities for disabled visitors, launderette. Motorcaravan services. Restaurant serving local specialities and takeaway (lunchtime and evening). Bread available in high season. Solarium. Tennis. Play areas. Mountain bike hire. Boules. Minigolf. Lake fishing. Beach volleyball. Entertainment daily in high season. Guided tours for ramblers and mountainbikers.

Getting there...
Site is 14 km. SSE of Kaiserslautern. From the A6, take exit 15 (Kaiserslautern West) onto B270 towards Pirmasens. Turn left after 9 km. towards Karlstal/Trippstadt and follow site signs.
