Alan Rogers Review
Set on a hillside, within the Sierra Peña de Francia and with views of the romantic walled village of Miranda del Castañar and its charming, crumbling castle, this site is run by a Dutch couple, Jeff and Yvonne. You are welcomed at the gate and are walked around the facilities. In total, there are 30 level touring pitches, all between 80 to 120 sq.m. and 25 have electricity. The pitches are beautifully set in 3.5 hectares of the most attractive natural woodland. Owners of large caravans and motorhomes should contact the site first due to the restricted number of suitable pitches.

Getting there...
From north - south direction take Salamanca - Coria road southwest for about 70 km. through Vecinos, Linares de Rio Frio towards Coria (numbers change but keep on this main road, the easiest route). From east - west direction take Bejar - Ciudad Rodrigo road turning south towards Cepeda/Coria. The road to Miranda del Castañar is 7 km. northeast of the village of Cepeda. Turn off main road signed Miranda. After 1.2 km. going downhill towards town look for left turn onto a concrete road. Follow road for 1.1 km. (a short stretch unmade) and site is on right.
