Alan Rogers Review
Waux-Hall is a useful and convenient site for a longer look at historic Mons and the surrounding area. It is a well laid out municipal site, close to the town centre and E42 motorway. The 50 pitches, most with electricity (10A), are arranged on either side of an oval road, on grass and divided by beds of small shrubs; the landscape maintenance is excellent. The pitches vary in size from average to small, so manoeuvring could be difficult for larger units. A large public park is adjacent with a refreshment bar, tennis, a playground and a lake. There is direct access from the site when the gate is unlocked.
