Le Pré Bas is suitable for families and those seeking the watersports opportunities that the lake provides. Level, grassy pitches are divided up by mature hedging and trees, with 108 mobile homes for rent, including one for visitors with mobility problems, and around 72 pitches available for tourers, all with electricity (6A). A gate leads to the lakeside, where in high season there is windsurfing, pedaloes, canoes and fishing, and 50 m. away is a beach with supervised bathing and a snack bar. There is a pool complex with heated swimming pools (one covered), a large slide and a paddling pool, plus a new wellness centre and supervised club for children.

Getting there...
Leave A75 autoroute at exit 6 and take D978 signed St Nectaire and Murol, then D996. Site is located on left, 3 km, west of Murol towards Le Mont Dore, at the far end of Lac de Chambon.
