Alan Rogers Review
This campsite is well located beside a lake on one side and by the River Arlois (which joins the much wider Saône) on another. There are 160 large, flat, grass pitches with 6A electric hook-ups, those overlooking the lake and river being in most demand. During July and August there are pony and carriage rides, with a fireworks display and dance taking place around 14 August. Just outside the site perimeter a licensed bar/restaurant offers well priced meals, as well as bread and other basic provisions. Unfortunately the proximity of various roads to the site means that there is a fair amount of traffic noise.
Facilities
The larger of the two toilet blocks is on two levels: dishwashing and laundry sinks on ground level, with separate ladies’ and men’s toilets, washbasins (open and in cabins) up a flight of stairs. The second block, on one level, provides similar facilities plus a separate shower and toilet room for disabled visitors. In addition, an ancient, typically French, facility with Turkish style toilets and urinals remains in use. Washing machine and several clothes lines. Play area. Boules.
