This is a well presented and cared for site, useful for an overnight stop or for a longer stay to explore the local area. It is close to the A6 Autoroute, and the interesting market town of Châlon-sur-Saône is only 2 km. There are 100 slightly sloping pitches (90 sq.m) all with 10A electricity, most on grass, but 30 have a gravel surface. They are separated by beech hedging, and a variety of mature trees gives varying amounts of shade. Many pitches overlook the river, a good spot to watch the passing boats. Access is easy for large outfits.

Facilities

Three toilet blocks, two traditional in style and fittings. The third is a superb modern building, including a children’s bathroom, disabled bathroom and family shower. Motorcaravan services. Dishwashing facilities, laundry. No shop but essentials kept in the bar (bread to order). Modern bar/restaurant (July/Aug). Simple play area. Bicycle hire arranged. WiFi.

Getting there...
From A6 exit 26 (Châlon-Sud), take N80 (signed Dôle) to second roundabout. Take fourth exit (signed Roseraie) and fork right (Les Chavannes). At traffic lights turn right (signed Roseraie) under bridge to site entrance 500 m.
