Only a few kilometres from the coast and the landing beaches, this excellent site makes a very useful night stop on the way to or from Cherbourg, whether or not you want to see the tapestry at Bayeux. The 140 pitches are in two areas (many on hardstanding), well marked and generally of good size with electricity. The site is busy over a long season – early arrival is advised as reservations are not taken. Reception is open 08.00 to 12.30 and 14.00 to 19.00 (all day in July/August). There is no parking outside for tourers. There may be some road noise on one side of the site.
Facilities
The two good quality toilet blocks have British style WCs, washbasins in cabins in main block, and units for disabled visitors. Baby changing. Motorcaravan service point. Laundry room. Van calls with takeaway food (Mon-Fri eves). Bread to order. Two playgrounds. Reading room with TV. Games room. Five mobile homes to rent.

On the northernmost point of the inner ring road (D613), just west of the junction to Arromanches (D516), the site is well signed in this area.
