Camping Delta is actually within the Locarno town limits, only some 800 m. from the centre. It has a prime position right by the lake, with bathing direct from the site, and is next to the municipal lido and sports field. The site has some moorings on an inlet at one side, with a jetty. It has 300 pitches on flat ground of 50-100 sq.m. of which 240 are available for touring units. They are marked out at the rear but with no other demarcation, giving an informal mix of all kinds of camper. Waterside pitches are premium priced.

Getting there...
From central Locarno follow signs to Camping Delta, Lido or Stadio along the lake. Beware that approaching from south there are also Delta signs which lead you to Albergo Delta in quite the wrong place.
