De Valkenhof is a spacious family site with 142 pitches, partly in the woods and partly on open fields without hedges to separate them. All the pitches are for touring units and have 6/10A electricity. There are 25 serviced pitches with electricity, water and drainage. Cars are not permitted on the campsite itself and this, together with the large pitches, provides for a really quiet holiday. Other than a recreation room for youngsters, a pool and sanitary buildings, the site has few amenities but you’ll find all you need in the village. The large outdoor pool (over 1,000 sq.m), with its giant slide and recreational activities will certainly appeal to children.

Two toilet blocks have washbasins (open style and in cabins, only one block with hot water at the basins), preset showers and toilets. New children’s section with baby room. Facilities for disabled visitors. Motorcaravan services. Laundry. Basic provisions and some snacks from reception. Extensive entertainment for children (high season). Covered playground. Giant chess. Boules. Games room. Only gas barbecues are permitted. WiFi (charged). Max. 2 dogs.

Getting there...
Travelling north from Zwolle on the A28, take exit for Beilen - Westerbork. Follow N31 eastwards and take exit for Westerbork. From there follow campsite signs.
