Alan Rogers Review
Chamechaude, the 2,082 m. Eiger-like peak, presides benevolently over the 90 touring pitches at this beautiful, high alpine site open from May to September for the summer season. The large touring pitches, all with electricity (2-10A), have some shade and are slightly sloping. The site has a heated pool in the open air so that not a moment of the views is lost. This well run, family owned enterprise, set around a traditional Savoyard farmhouse, is a peaceful centre for walking, climbing, cycling or just soaking up the air and ambience. It is in the centre of the Chartreuse National Forest. A Sites et Paysages member.
