One hour from Paris, on the banks of the Seine and overlooked by the impressive remains of Château Gaillard (Richard Coeur de Lion), this attractive and very spacious ten-hectare site will appeal to everyone. There is easy access to the 108 touring pitches on level grass, in a well landscaped setting and all with electricity (6A), although some long leads may be required. Many of these back onto the River Seine where you can watch the barges, and most have views of the château. Of the 80 mobile homes on site, there are five to let, leaving lots of space to enjoy the surroundings, including the large lake full of perch and bream for those eager fishermen. Others can try their luck in the Seine.

Facilities

Four small, unheated toilet blocks have British style toilets (no seats), showers and washbasins, all in cubicles; dishwashing and laundry sinks. One has facilities for disabled visitors, another has a laundry facility. Motorcaravan service point. Heated swimming and paddling pools (15/5-30/9). Bar and restaurant (1/4-30/9). Fenced play area. Evening entertainment (4/7-30/8). Bicycles and barbecues for hire. Satellite TV. Internet access and WiFi (charged). Adult open-air exercise area.

Getting there...
Les Andelys is 40 km. southeast of Rouen. From the town centre, continue on D125 and follow signs until roundabout by bridge where second exit leads directly into site.
