This well tended, tranquil campsite overlooking a lake, with views of a forest and the 19th-century Château de Montrifaut, is a real countryside haven for relaxation. The birdsong includes nightingales and golden orioles. The 61 marked, grass pitches have 6A electricity, a small hardstanding area for a car and are separated by a variety of maturing trees giving some shade. There is a separate area nearer the lake for tents. There is no organised entertainment but a play area and a fenced area of the lake, with beach for swimming and paddling plus plenty of space, will keep children happily amused.

Getting there...
From N81 (Autun - Bourbon-Lancy) turn left onto D27/D25 just west of Luzy and continue for about 11 km. Turn right, D42 in centre of Issy-l’Évêque, signed to campsite. The road narrows slightly, entrance on the right.
