Camping de la Vallée is an attractive site with good, well maintained facilities, situated on the rolling hillside above the seaside resort of Houlgate. The original farmhouse building has been converted to house a bar/brasserie and a comfortable TV lounge and billiards room overlooking the pool. The site has 373 pitches with 98 for touring units. Large, open and separated by hedges, all the pitches have 4 or 6A electricity and some also have water and drainage. Part of the site is sloping, the rest level, with gravel or tarmac roads. Shade is provided by a variety of well kept trees and shrubs.

Houlgate is 30 km. northeast of Caen and 23 km. from the ferry terminal at Ouistreham. From A13 take exit for Cabourg and follow D400 to Dives-sur-Mer, then D513 (Hougate/Deauville) until you reach the seafront. After 1 km. at lights turn right and follow site signs to campsite on right in about 1 km. (No arrivals 12.00-14.00 in low season).
