You are assured of a warm welcome at Camping la Plage from the English speaking owners. It is situated beside the River Lot and is within walking distance of the beautiful historic village of Saint Cirq-Lapopie. It provides a good base for those who want an active holiday with many organised activities available either on site or in the immediate area. There are 120 good sized, level stony/grass pitches, 98 of which are for touring. Most have electricity (6/10A), a few are fully serviced and some have hardstandings. They are separated by hedges and shrubs and a variety of mature trees give good shade.
Facilities
Two well appointed sanitary blocks are clean and well maintained. Facilities for disabled visitors. Washing machines and dryer. Motorcaravan service point (charged). Bar (1/4-30/9). Restaurant and takeaway (1/5-30/9). New swimming pool planned for 2012. Play area. Large children’s room for activities. Canoeing, kayaking and swimming from beach at the rear of the site (lifeguard July/Aug). Fishing. Bicycle hire. WiFi.

Getting there...
From Cahors take D653 east to Vers, then D662 for 17 km. to Tour de Faure. Cross river and site entrance is on right by bar/restaurant. Do not approach via Saint Cirq-Lapopie - very steep, winding and narrow roads.
