Alan Rogers Review
De Kuilart is a well run, modern and partly car-free site by Friesland’s largest lake. With its own marina and private boating facilities, it attracts many watersports enthusiasts. The 495 pitches here are set in groups of ten to 16 on areas of grass surrounded by well established hedges. There are 265 for touring units, 207 with electricity (6/16A), water, waste water, WiFi and TV connections, and 20 new pitches with private sanitary facilities. The restaurant provides good views of the lake and woodland. A children’s ‘house’ is home to the entertainment team and there is an interesting Play Ship on the beach.
