Alan Rogers Review
This campsite is in a unique location on the river Waal and has 160 spacious pitches, half of which are situated right beside the river and have fabulous views. There are 25 permanent pitches and 60 seasonal pitches, leaving 75 for touring with 6A electricity. A separate field, with a fish pond, is available for short stays. The playground with open-air chess and trampoline is popular with children. De Grote Altena is ideal for nature lovers who enjoy peace and space. The attractive cities of Arnhem and Nijmegen are both within easy reach.
