At the eastern end of Lake Lugano, Camping Darna is in a broad valley with a great view down the lake and mountains on all sides. It is a well run site which becomes lively in high season with plenty of entertainment for young and old; in low season it is much more relaxed. The 304 touring pitches are on flat ground, all with 3A electricity. There are 46 seasonal pitches (not along the lakeside). A pizzeria serves a full range of Italian dishes and has a bar and terrace. There is a good sized swimming pool and paddling pool.

Getting there...
Porlezza is 14 km. east of Lugano on the SS340 to Menággio. Turn right at traffic lights in Porlezza on Via Osteno and site is 1.5 km. on the right. Note: The SS340 is very narrow and winding, especially on the Porlezza - Lugano section (not for large units). The Como - Menággio road is best tackled between 12.00 and 14.00 if possible!
