Alan Rogers Review
Ferrara is an interesting and historic city, well worth a short visit. This pretty municipal campsite on the northern outskirts offers comfortable facilities for all types of units and includes 50 fairly large, grass pitches, with numerous electrical connections. Trees are used to provide shade and to screen the site. Unusual concrete portals are covered in roses, shrubs and other flowers giving a cheerful atmosphere. On-site facilities are limited, with machines for snacks and cold drinks, but there is an excellent trattoria within walking distance (1 km) and a wide choice of other eating places in the city itself.
