Alan Rogers Review
On the northern outskirts of Copenhagen, this unique site is within the walls of an old fort which still retains its main armament of twelve 29 cm. howitzers (disabled, of course). There are 100 pitches on grass, all with 10A electricity. The obvious limitation on the space available means that pitches are relatively close together, but many are quite deep. The site is very popular and is usually full every night, so we suggest that you either reserve or arrive well before mid-day. The site is only 6 km. from the centre of Copenhagen, with a regular bus service from just outside the site.

Getting there...
Leave E47/E55 at exit 17, and turn southeast on Jægersborgvej. After a short distance turn left (east) on Jægersborg Allé, following signs for Charlottenlund (5 km) and follow all the way to the end. Finally turn right (south) on to Strandvejen, and site entrance is on left after 500 m.
