An attractive campsite, C’era una Volta is about 6 km. back from the sea, situated on a hillside with panoramic views. Pitches are on terraces in different sections of the site. Varying in size, most have shade from the young trees which harbour crickets with their distinctive noise. Some of the upper pitches have good views. Cars are required to park in separate areas at busy times. There are electricity connections, with water and drainage close by. Charges are high in season but the site has an enjoyable atmosphere and is a good choice for families.

Leave A10 at Albenga, turn left and left again at roundabout for the SS453 for Villanova. At T-junction turn left (Garlenda), turn right in 200 m. and follow signs up a long winding narrow road beyond the Stadium.
