Alan Rogers Review
Although not as well known as Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck, Graz in the southern province of Styria, is Austria’s second largest city. Camping Central is a quiet site, which makes a good night stop when travelling between Klagenfurt and Vienna or as a base from which to explore the region. The site’s name is misleading as it is situated in the southwest of the town in the Strassgang district, some 6 km. from the centre. The 60 level touring pitches are either in regular rows either side of tarmac roads under a cover of tall trees or on an open meadow where they are not marked out. All have electricity (6A). There is a bus every 15 minutes to the city centre.

Getting there...
From the west take Graz-west exit, from Salzburg the Graz-sud exit and follow signs to Central and Strassgang and turn right just past traffic lights for site (signed).
