This is a large, noisy, bustling, expensive site with all the modern paraphernalia of holiday-making. Over 50 per cent of this site is dedicated to catering for tour operators, and obviously so, but there are three designated areas for independent campers. These provide 590 terraced and flat pitches, some shaded but all with electricity. On arrival you are processed by rather impersonal staff. The site could be of interest to families with teenagers, offering the possibility for parents to rest whilst the youngsters enjoy their own type of holiday within the confines of the site.

Getting there...
Estartit is on the coast northeast of Girona. Leave the AP7/E15 and take the C66 towards Palamós. Then take the GI642 towards Parlava and the GI643 towards Torroella de Montgri. Site is well signed on the GI 641 Torroella de Montgri - L’Estartit road just north of the town on the left.
