Alan Rogers Review
This traditional and pricey site is a 450 m. walk from one of the very pleasant Gulf of Roses beaches (one of the closest beach gates is not used), and within the large Aiguamolls de l’Empordà nature reserve. It is also convenient for (but quite separate from) the latest tourist development and facilities at Empuria Brava. With some 310 pitches (160 for touring), it is smaller than many sites in this part of Spain and may be suitable for some families. The pitches, most with electricity, are of average size for the Costa Brava and are on level ground with some artificial shade added to the natural shade from the trees.

Getting there...
Castello d’Empuries is north of Girona and east of Figueres on the coast. From motorway AP7 take exit 3 south or exit 4 north (note there is no exit 3 north). Do not go into Castello d’Empuries or Empuriabrava, but continue on N11 to the C260 towards Roses. At km 40 La Rubina, turn and pass by La Llar restaurant, site is 1.5 km further.
