The Ionian coast of Calabria is a mixture of industrial areas (there is off-shore oil and gas), rural areas and large and small holiday resorts. Cropani Marina is definitely at the smaller end of the holiday spectrum and it is some considerable way south on a road that gets progressively slower as you travel. The site has 120 pitches in total but has mobile homes, static caravans and tent only areas. This means that there are perhaps only 40 pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes, all with electricity (6A). There are apartments opposite for rent and a bar/restaurant just outside the gates.

Getting there...
Site is on the main coast road (SS106) south of Crotone on the way to Catanzaro. Just south of the resort of Botricello you come to Cropani Marina. Site is well signed at the junction towards the beach and is about 500 m. on the right.
