Alan Rogers Review
This large campsite has a lovely setting alongside a slow flowing river. There are 240 small to medium sized pitches, 140 for touring, all with 5A electricity and shaded by trees. Many are fully serviced (water waste water drain and electricity). The older part of the campsite houses a well stocked shop and a a bar/restaurant adjacent to the swimming pools. One smaller pool is heated and partly covered. A small stream runs along the lower side which can be seen from the pool and restaurant area, which faces the swimming pool complex. In summer childrens club activities are run from here and this is definitely the part of the campsite with a lot going on.

Getting there...
Esponellā is about 20 km. southwest of Figueres. From the N260 Figueres-Olot road, 4 km. west of Navata turn south on Gip512 to Esponellā. After factory on left, cross river and on left-hand bend turn sharp right to site (yellow sign).
