A pleasant site, Blue Bayou is situated at the far end of Vendres Plage near Le Grau Vendres (the port of Vendres). It is therefore in a much quieter location than many other sites, away from the more hectic, built-up areas of Vendres and Valras-Plage. The beach is 300 m. across sand dunes and there are open views from the site creating a feeling of spaciousness. There are 256 pitches, all with 10A electricity, with 74 privately owned mobile homes and 92 to let, including some chalets. The touring pitches are large, some with their own sanitary arrangements.
Facilities
Individual toilet units for 66 touring pitches. Two separate blocks are fully equipped and were renovated for 2011. Baby bath and facilities for children. Facilities for disabled visitors. Laundry. Bar, restaurant and takeaway (open on demand in early season). Swimming pool (heated all season). Multisport court. Play area. Miniclub and entertainment in high season. WiFi throughout (charged). Bouncy castle (free) Tuesdays and Thursdays. Only electric barbecues permitted.

Getting there...
From A9 exit 36 (Béziers Ouest) follow directions for Valras-Plage and Vendres Plage over four roundabouts. At fifth roundabout (Port Conchylicole) follow sign for Vendres Plage Ouest and site is 500 m. on the left past the Ranch and tourist office. The entrance is quite tight.
