Alan Rogers Review
On the western tip of Lake Bled is Camping Bled. The waterfront here has a small public beach, immediately behind which runs a gently sloping narrow wooded valley. Pitches at the front, used mainly for overnighters, are now marked, separated by trees and enlarged, bringing the total number to 280. In areas at the back, visitors are free to pitch where they like. There is some noise from trains as they trundle out of a high tunnel overlooking the campsite on the line from Bled to Bohinj.
Facilities
Toilet facilities in five blocks are of a high standard (with free hot showers). Two blocks are heated. Solar energy used. Washing machines and dryers. Motorcaravan services. Gas supplies. Fridge hire. Supermarket. Restaurant. Play area and children’s zoo. Games hall. Trampolines. Organised activities in July/Aug including children’s club, excursions and sporting activities. From the town of Bled drive along south shore of lake to its western extremity (some 2 km) to the site.

Golf
Bled Golf Course first opened in 1937 and was redesigned by the famous golf architect, Donald Harradine, in 1972. In 2009 it was ranked 54th in the list of top 100 golf courses of Continental Europe by Golf World magazine.
