An attractive site with good standards, Bella-Tola is on the hillside above Susten (east of Sierre) with good views over the Rhône valley. Extensive terracing has been carried out and most of the pitches are now terraced and flat. All of the 180 individually numbered pitches have electricity connections. The fullest season is 10/7-10/8, but they say that there is usually room somewhere. Used by tour operators (20%). Guests are requested to comply with environmental rules by sorting rubbish as directed. The site boasts a good sized heated swimming pool and children’s pool (both free to campers) which, like the restaurant and bar overlooking them, are also open to non-campers and so more crowded at weekends and holidays. In the low rain climate of the Valais the pool is naturally much used.

Travelling eastwards from Sierre along main road, small site road is to the right (south) just after entering Susten (site signed).
