This very popular 2.5-hectare site has direct access to a sandy beach through a pedestrian gate (with key code) and across a car park. The town centre is also only 500 m. away. Shady and level, there are 153 individual pitches, all with electricity (10A). A good number of pitches are on a gravel base and a few are suitable only for smaller units. There are chalets and mobile homes (19) to rent. On-site amenities include a heated swimming pool and a good restaurant and bar. This is a popular seaside resort with 13 km. of good quality sandy beaches.
Facilities
The main centrally located sanitary unit is large, good quality and very well appointed. A smaller simpler unit is at the far end of the site. British style WCs, washbasins in cubicles, provision for babies and disabled campers. Laundry room at each block. Motorcaravan service point. Bar/restaurant and takeaway (20/5 -13/9, Thu & Sun only in low season). Outdoor swimming pool (10x20 m; heated May-Sept). Playground. Games Room. TV room. Volleyball. Dogs and other animals not accepted July/Aug. WiFi throughout (free).

Getting there...
La Tranche-sur-Mer is 35 km. south of La Roche-sur-Yon. From La Roche-sur-Yon take D747 to La Tranche. At roundabout (D747 and D1046) carry straight on to next roundabout and turn right towards town centre. At next (new) roundabout continue straight on to site on left (well signed).
